Trust In Jesus

THERE ARE THINGS YOU CANNOT TRUST

You cannot trust all people. All through the Bible, we are told not to trust in man, in princes, kings, ourselves, or any other person. That always brings disappointment.
People are not the problem, where they put their trust is the problem. People will fail you, even the best people you know, but the Lord will never fail you.
I have been let down by people, betrayed by friends, opposed by family, attacked by my enemies, ignored by many, lied to, cheated on, cursed and hurt, but I have never, never been disappointed in Jesus.

You cannot trust politics or politicians. That is not to say that there are not any good people trying to serve our country and the people in it. But they are just that, people.
Their policies and promises are not always true and sound. There are too many things that can change. We have to learn to trust in that which never changes, the Lord.

Abraham was saved because he believed God.
Noah was saved because he believed God.
The thief on the cross was saved by asking the Lord to remember him when Yeshua came into His kingdom - showing that He believed that Yeshua was the promised one sent by God.
All the apostles were saved by believing that Jesus was the Messiah (the anointed one) sent from God.
All in the book of Acts were saved by hearing and believing that Jesus was the the Christ (anointed) the risen Savior from God.

God will do marvelous things for those who trust in Him.  All our sufferings and sorrows, all our temptations and trials, all our sadness and grief, all our persecutions and privations, in short, all things work together for our good.   All experiences and circumstances are God’s workmen whereby good is brought to us. He (or she) who is imbued with the Spirit of Christ abides in Christ.   The blow that is aimed at him (or her) falls upon the Saviour, who surrounds him or her with His presence.  Whatever comes to him or her comes from Christ.

It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. (Psalms 118:8).
Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him... (Job 13:15).
Trust in him at all times... (Psalms 62:8).
...Blessed are all they that put their trust in him. (Psalms 2:12).
Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him, and He will act. He will bring forth your vindication as the light, and your right as the noonday. Be still before the Lord, and wait patiently for Him   (Psalms 37)
We know that in everything God works for good with those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose (Romans 8)
Blessed are all they... that put their trust in Him (Psalms 2)
Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust... (Psalms 40:4).
What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. (Psalms 56:3).
For thou art my hope, O Lord GOD: thou art my trust from my youth. (Psalms 71:5).
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. (Proverbs 3:5).
The Lord is faithful; He will strengthen you and guard you from evil. (2 Thessalonians 3)
The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe. (Proverbs 29:25).

I'm not that bad, I should be good enough to go to heaven?

For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)
If you judge your sins from man's standards or your own you will always come out to be good enough. God's law is perfect and no one can fulfill his law, but one person, Jesus Christ.
And ye know that he (Jesus) was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. I John 3:5

The Reality of the Last Judgment-- Are you ready for this day?

God hath appointed a day wherein he will judge the world in righteousness, by Jesus Christ; to whom all power and judgment is given of the Father; in which day, not only the apostate angels shall be judged, but likewise all persons that have lived upon the earth shall appear before the tribunal of Christ, to give an account of their thoughts, words, and deeds, and to receive according to what they have done in the body, whether good or evil.

When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:  And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, ….

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world.  For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home.  I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’

Then the King will turn to those on the left and say, ‘Away with you, you cursed ones, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his demons. For I was hungry, and you didn’t feed me. I was thirsty, and you didn’t give me a drink.  I was a stranger, and you didn’t invite me into your home. I was naked, and you didn’t give me clothing. I was sick and in prison, and you didn’t visit me.'

..And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal

The greatest message that God has ever given to human beings is this one: TRUST JESUS.
It's good for the saving of a soul, and for the mending of a life gone wrong.  And it's good for everything else that any of us will ever truly need, both now and for always.

With Love In Christ,
