S - For He Who motivated and fitted Peter and worked
effectively through him for the mission to the circumcised,
motivated and fitted me and worked through me also for
[the mission to] the Gentiles..... They only [made one stipulation],
that we were to remember the poor, which very thing I was also eager
to do. (AMP)
O – He who shaped/molded powerfully
with Peter, did also with Paul. He gave them both those talents
which were suited to their work, and equal success in different
areas.
Now nothing could be better than for
him to pledge himself to feel a deep interest in the poor saints
among the converts; to remember them in his prayers; and to endeavor
to secure contributions for their needs. This would show that he was
not alienated from his countrymen; and thus the whole church would
be united in the closest bonds.
A – The same Lord who had empowered
Peter and Paul,
empower us in each of our 'areas' to which he has called us to
minister. As one evangelist said it at our church once ' he has
called us and by the Holy Spirit, works through us in our sphere of
influence'
One of the best ways to all Believers,
preventing alienation, jealousy and strife, is to have a great
common object of charity, in which all are interested and to which
all may contribute.
P – Father, I thank you and praise
you for your Holy Spirit within us. Work in an through us, open our
ears and our eyes to hear and see the work you would us to complete.
United as one. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
With Love in Christ, Blessings to you,
Tracy
